We'll cover how you can go about finding and purchasing your dream car, navigating platforms like Bringatrailer and Marketplace. Then we'll look at the basics of owning, maintaining and even driving these cars.

I've loved cars for as long as I can remember. Some of my very first memories are sitting on my dad's lap as we drove his old truck or tractor around our property. But something happened as I moved from my 90s childhood to being an adult: Cars got boring. From getting my license at 16 to now, I've owned some 10 cars but none of them sparked that kind of wonder I had about vehicles as a kid. That is until I purchased my first project car: a barnfind 1962 MG Midget that I somehow got running and driving. Since then I've owned quite a few old cars and motorcycles and I've learned alot about what it takes to find, purchase and maintain these vehicles. They may be worse than modern cars in almost every quantifiable way, yet they somehow offer an experience that just can't be matched.
